As 2024 is in the books, our team at Cohesive Components has been reflecting on major events from this year and how they impact our ability to deliver great customer experiences. Choosing Cohesive Components for your material needs means choosing a partner focused on responsiveness, providing access to diverse materials, and a team willing to find a path to “yes.” Here are some of the investments we’ve made in 2024 that allow us to support these priorities this year, next year, and beyond.
Ameritape was a leading aerospace manufacturer that strongly aligned with Cohesive Components capabilities and culture. As a leading aerospace materials manufacturer, adding Ameritape means that our company can better serve aerospace and defense customers and provide even more value when it comes to tapes and adhesives.
What it Means for 2025 and Beyond: Cohesive Components can provide even more support for its customers looking for aerospace-grade adhesives and tapes. Similarly, Cohesive Components will be able to better support new markets and customers.
Throughout 2024, Cohesive Components has invested in multiple new technologies and machinery that allow us to provide even more support for customers. Onboarding new machinery like our precision skiving allows us to better support our customers’ need for precision materials and specifications. In addition to new capabilities, Cohesive Components has invested in additional production capacity, testing abilities, and more to ensure we continue delivering responsive service.
What it Means for 2025 and Beyond: Our customers can feel confident that Cohesive Components can meet their needs today and is willing to invest in the technologies to continue being the best partner for their material needs.
By continually evaluating and improving our solutions engineering teams, we have been able to support customer needs through testing, teardown analysis, and rapid prototyping. Throughout 2024, we have supported these programs with continued innovation and investment to ensure that we can provide expert solutions and support for our customers’ engineering needs.
What It Means for 2025 and Beyond: Programs like “Lunch-and-Learn” and our teardown analysis service aren’t going anywhere, so when engineers are unsure how to solve problems like thermal management or vibration reduction, Cohesive Components is ready to help.
Kent Manufacturing was a leading medical manufacturer aligned strongly with Cohesive Components culture and rapid delivery model. With a national reputation for excellence in the custom converting industry, the addition of Kent Manufacturing means that our company can better serve our customers with enhanced capabilities to deliver comprehensive converting and sealing solutions.
What it Means for 2025 and Beyond: The acquisition of Kent expands Cohesive Components engineering capabilities and automotive IATF-16949 certification. Cohesive Components now stands as one of the few North American converters with comprehensive certifications across the medical, automotive, and aerospace sectors, enhancing our capacity to innovate and deliver.
CEO Pete Futia shares more about the recent merger with Kent, a company with over 60 years of expertise. This merger brings new certifications, capabilities, and opportunities to better serve our customers.
It’s an exciting time to be a customer at Cohesive Components between the investments we’ve made this year and our continued focus on delivering great service. But we’re always looking for new ways to enhance our ability to support customers; this won’t be changing as we head into 2025.
