Previously Known as Sur-Seal

Cohesive Components, formerly Sur-Seal, was founded as a family-owned and -operated business in 1965, with headquarters located in Cincinnati, OH. From creating gaskets for the Apollo missions to producing today’s cutting-edge solutions, we remain committed to innovation that expands possibilities for our customers.

Mueller

Mueller, a Cohesive Components LLC, is a North Carolina-based provider of custom engineering, converting, and manufacturing of flexible materials. Mueller was founded in 1940 with the core values of honesty, integrity, responsiveness, and respect that continue to guide the business today. Mueller specializes in quick, cost-efficient production capabilities that shorten lead times and add value to complex projects. The company is ISO-9001 and AS9100 certified and offers many MilSpec and ASTM-certified raw materials.

Ameritape

Ameritape Inc., based in Jacksonville, Florida, opened for business in 1990. Our versatility and unique converting capabilities with specialty tape allow us to service many different market segments. From common needs such as masking and duct tapes to more specialty needs such as thermally conductive tapes and double-coated foams, you can count on us!

In-house capabilities include custom lathe and rewind slitting from an extensive inventory of log rolls, as well as rotary and steel-rule die-cutting of many materials used in the manufacturing process. In addition to our converting services, we offer three-color flexographic printing for custom label applications.

Spectex

Spectex, a Cohesive Components LLC, is a New Hampshire-based manufacturer providing converting services. Spectex was founded in 2001 and originally specialized in the slitting and converting of nonwoven textiles. The company received its ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2017 and has expanded its services over the years to include laminating, skiving, and sheeting.

Kent Manufacturing

Kent Manufacturing LLC is a Michigan-based provider of custom converting solutions with a strong national reputation for quality and precision. Founded in 1940, Kent brings decades of experience in the converting industry, with specialized capabilities that strengthen Cohesive Components’s service offerings across multiple sectors.

Kent’s ISO-13485 certified medical cleanroom allows us to better support the medical market with high-performance materials and solutions. In addition, Kent expands Cohesive Components’s engineering capabilities and holds the IATF-16949 certification, positioning us as one of the only converters in North America with leading technical certifications across the medical, automotive and aerospace sectors.
